Meet Our 2025 Dream Vacation Grant Recipients

Two Dream Vacations. One Shared Mission: Make Breast Cancer Suck Less.

How do we do that?

Thanks to your support, we’re Giving Flight to the Fight to two incredible young adults facing breast cancer.

Mary-Kate was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer at 34, just as she was about to start a new chapter living life in a camper van and driving across the country with her husband. That dream was delayed—but now she’s headed to Patagonia in a powerful move to take her life back, show her resilience, and give a middle finger to breast cancer.

Bridget was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in 2024—years after she founded a teen breast health initiative that helped her recognize the warning signs herself. She’s off to the Philippines to celebrate survival, chase joy, and get back to being the life of the party.

🎥 Watch the moment they found out.

"It was good to feel like a normal girl after months and months and months of being a cancer patient.”

"It was good to feel like a normal girl after months and months and months of being a cancer patient.”

No one should be dismissed as “too young” to have breast cancer. Yet, too often, they are.

When Lisa Marzullo was just 29 years old, she felt a pain in her armpit. Doctors insisted she pulled a muscle because she was “too young” for breast cancer. A few weeks later she was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, a rare and aggressive form. Less than two years later, she passed away.

We founded the Lisa Marzullo Fly Again Foundation to raise awareness that too many young adults are dismissed when it comes to breast cancer. We do this by granting Dream Vacations to young adults with breast cancer, along with a companion of their choice, and provide an opportunity to be seen, understood, and given a chance to feel “normal” again.

Since our inception, we’ve sent seven incredible women and their travel companions around the world with one goal: to offer a little hope while in treatment.

With your support we can Give Flight to the Fight.

Two More Breast Cancer Fighters Set to Soar

We are thrilled to announce the 2024 Lisa Marzullo Fly Again Foundation Dream Vacation Grant recipients. Yes, you read that right - TWO recipients! Meet Jessenia Cisneros and Taryn Lloyd:

Jessenia, 33, has Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer, and is ready to get her “wings back” after having reconstructive surgery. She’ll head to the serenity and beauty of Hawaii with her friend,  and Jessenia will have the chance to meet her "soul sister" who has been a major sense of strength throughout her breast cancer battle.

Taryn, 34, first had concerns about a lump when she was 25 years old, but her doctors dismissed her, saying she was “too young.” Now, she’s fighting Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma ER+, but that won’t stop her from flying again. She and her boyfriend, Jake, are already chanting, “We’re going to be in Iceland in less than a year!”
